Having been interested in Motorsport from a young age, Seb's initial spectating experience was on the 2001 Network Q Rally GB. His first chance to compete came in 2004 when he navigated for a friend on the first Lombard Revival Rally.

A good result encouraged him to try some more events and in early 2005 he joined the Ilkley & District Motor Club, competing in many club events, further road rallies as well as some historic events. He won the Under 23 Navigational Award and gained a respectable 1st in class on a challenging road rally.

2006 saw Seb contesting the BTRDA 1400 championship with young Scot David Bogie, a testing year culminated in victory on the final round, ensuring 2nd in class in the championship.

He was also one of 3 co-drivers to be selected for the MSA British Rally Academy, a training scheme set up to develop the future British talent in the sport. With it a fantastic oppurtunity to work with the former world champion co-drivers Robert Reid and Phil Mills.

During 2007 Seb competed in the highly competitive Ford Fiesta SportingTrophy alongside Bobby Mitchell, whilst also contesting several other events throughout the UK.

Seb stepped up to compete in the British Rally Championship in 2008, partnering fellow British Rally Academy member Adam Gould in a Renault Clio. A string of fantastic results prompted nominations for the UK and European Pirelli Star Driver Competitions, going on to win the UK Shootout, and with it a fully funded drive in the 2009 British Rally Championship.

Seb also made his debut in a World Championship event when he contested Rallye Deutschland, and he performed crucial Safety Car duties for the Munchi's Ford World Rally Tearm on the Rallye de France - Tour de Corse.

At the start of 2009 Seb progressed onto the British Rally Elite scheme, providing the perfect preparation for the busy year ahead in the Pirelli Teg Sport Subaru Impreza. A podium position on the Jim Clark Rally proved a highlight, as well as being selected for the BF Goodrich Drivers' Team drive on the inagral Rally of Scotland, the final round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, at the wheel of a Kronos prepared Peugeot 207 S2000. An mechanical failure unfortunately curtailed their rally early on, however it was a fantastic experience to work with such a professional team on a high profile event.

For 2010 Seb has teamed up with Harry Hunt in a Ford Fiesta R2, they will be contesting a number of rallies in Europe, starting with the Rally of Sweden.

When not competing Seb can often be found marshaling or spectating on events. Away from rallying Seb's hobbies include skiing, mountain biking and web design. Last year Seb also graduated from Newcastle University with a 2:1 degree in Surveying & Mapping Science, a branch of Geomatics.
