04/03/2009

Co-Driver Seb Marshall this week graduated to the MSA British Rally Elite scheme, having been a member of the Academy program for the past three seasons.

After facing the selction panel, which included former WRC champion co-drivers' Phil Mills and Robert Reid, as well as reigning BRC champion Guy Wilks, in a testing interview at the MSA Headquarters last week, Marshall was picked to join his driver Adam Gould amongst four others on the prestigious training scheme.

Entering its fifth year, the British Rally Elite was set up by Robert Reid to seek out the most promising young talent in British Rallying and prepare them for competition at World Championship level.

"It's a real priviledge to move up to the Rally Elite" said Marshall, "I've experienced the Rally Academy training and feel that I can really benefit from the one-to-one tuiton provided by the Elite in what looks set to be my biggest year of co-driving yet."

Seb will take part in the first training event towards the end of March, just prior to the International Rally of North Wales, the first round of the British Rally Championship, where he and driver Adam Gould will debut the Pirelli Star Driver car for 2009.
